September 21st, Close call!!

"Yeah, she's been happily moving around all day. And the contractions were painful, but not like, UNBEARABLE. They were coming every two/three minutes for about an hour, so I went in and they hooked me up to machines. They were very consiste...nt contractions and so they gave me a shot to try and stop them and it seemed to work the first time. Doctor said I could either be back in a couple days or a couple weeks, it could be whenever. Today, if the shots didn't stop the labor, I would have had her today. No one seemed to be worried that I was only 34 weeks, though. Which was good."
"I had some interesting things happen this morning. I had a couple contractions in the middle of the night and then woke up at 5 am and counted them for an hour. I officially took note of the ones for about 20 minutes and they were about eve...ry 2/3 minutes consistently, so I decided to call. I went in and they gave me a shot to try and stop the contractions since I'm 34 weeks and it seemed to work the first time. They said if I would have gone in during week 35, they wouldn't have given me the shot, they would have just delivered. So, now it's just a matter of time. None of the doctors seemed worried or anything, so it was good. Was in labor and delivery for about 5 hours hooked up to a machine. Fun stuff!!!"
