Things have been pretty hectic lately!! With a new baby and all, I had totally forgotten about our blog until a couple of days ago. I haven't written on here since before she was born.
Anyway, right now, most of us are sick at the house. We're living with Mike's parents right now and my mother in law, Mindy, I, Addison, Mike's brother Josh, our sister in law Jessica and my father in law Rob, have all been sick lately. Hopefully we get over it soon.
Yesterday, Addison started coughing and Mike took her to Kaiser to see what it was that she had. She has a cold, nothing big, so that was a relief. She got weighed at the appointment, too and she's 12 pounds 5 ounces!!
In the passed week, we've gone to Disneyland/Downtown Disney/California Adventure three separate times!! It's really nice having the year pass, although it is pretty expensive! Mike and I took Addison last Thursday after Mike's dental appointment, then Friday night Mike and I went for our date night. We ate dinner at the Jazz Kitchen and it was pretty good. I definitely wasn't dressed to eat there, since he surprised me, but we had a good time. We got beignets and hot cocoa for dessert. Then, we went on Monday with Mindy, Josh, Jessica, our nephew Bryce, and our friend Stephanie Martin and her little boy Matthew, and the baby she watches. It was a lot of fun. I wasn't feeling all that well, but it was still a lot of fun.
We love tax season!! Right now, Mike and I are waiting for our tax returns to pay off some bills and to get some stuff for ourselves with it, as well. We're very excited.
I'll try to remember to update this more often.
