Gestational Diabetes

The gestational diabetes hasn't been too bad, lately. They've given me some medications to help with the blood sugar levels. I'm on MetFormin and Glyburide. The MetFormin makes it easier to burn the carbs off that I've eaten. It basically gets my metabolism going enough to burn off the carbs. And the Glyburide causes my pancreas to create insulin, which to me is basically an amazing thing to be on if you're type 2 diabetes or gestational diabetic. Ever since I've started taking it, I've been under 100 on my blood tests. in between 60-120 is normal.

Bow Making

I've been pulling out my creative side once again, but in a different way than website design, graphic design, painting, etc. I've started making headbands for Addison and also for me, now. I've been getting TONS of ideas on google images, blogs, etsy, etc. I've signed up to sell things on Etsy and now I just have to decide which ones I will sell and also make more 'cleaner' made things to sell, as well. It's been a ton of fun.

As of right now, I'm still preparing items and nothing is for sale yet, on there. As of right now, my status is set to "on vacation." I wish it was really vacation!! haha As soon as I get things to put up for sale in my store, I'll be back and ready to sell. Maybe I'll be able to make some extra money from it.

Mike

Right now, Mike's doctors are trying to decide on a surgery date for the next surgery. Last Sunday night, we went into urgent care. He had popped his elbow out of its socket while he was getting on the floor to play with Braven. Braven's our cute 7 month year old nephew. He's adorable!!

So Mike will probably be getting surgery done in the next month or so. Probably around the time Addison will be here.

Baby Showers

I'm so excited for the ward and family/friends showers that are coming up!! I get a little uncomfortable when I'm the center of attention, though. I figured this out when I had my bridal showers. I get a little shy when the cameras and eyes are all on me. I never knew this about myself until just before I got married. haha but I don't have a problem with this. Sister Hillquist and the others helping her are so nice to think of me and give me a baby shower for the women at church. And my mom and sister are so nice to give me one for family and close friends. I'm excited to see everyone at these things at the end of this month.
