I can't believe how long it has been since I have updated our "blog" on our recent family events!!

We finally moved into our own place in July 2012 into our #1 pick apartments! We absolutely LOVE these apartments and have signed a year lease being here. Knowing we didn't have furniture for the front room, we began searching for couches. We tried TONS of furniture places and just kept disagreeing on which to get. (Typical "us"! right?) We finally found a couch that we both loved for a good price where we were looking to spend.


Then I went and found the purple pillows from Burlington Coat Factory that will be our accent color that I thought matched pretty well. We later found a deep purple throw from Costco that matches perfect. I wanted our front room to have character & a comfortable feeling.







 So far, it's been achieved, although we've got more to add & change to reach that perfect design & appeal for our family.

Addison turned two about 2 weeks ago!! Already! She's not a baby anymore & she's so smart. She says so many things and repeats many things, (Ahh!) which isn't always a good thing!

For her birthday, we celebrated on October 13th at our place. We had some very close family over. She got some new toys from her family members that she loves to play with which include some of the following: a princess dress-up kit, tickle me elmo, a la la loopsy doll, & a teapot set.

 

Addison loves to wander around the apartment and get into the DVDs, pots & pans, my makeup (ahh!) & the food in the pantry that she can reach. It's pretty funny, the things she comes up with. But we love her to pieces. 

Hopefully I can get back on top of this blogging thing!!
