SO....What's New?


I've been really busy and haven't been able to write much for a little while...on here. lol If you keep up with me on facebook, I'm sure you'll see I post about a billion things a day on there. ;)

This is sort of ...big news...but I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. In April, my parents decided they were going to be getting a divorce and would have to sell their house and get apartments. I personally think it will be for the best. 

Mike and I moved in with them last October 2009 and our new plan is to move into his parents house for now. So now we're in the Alder ward with his parents and Rafa and Amanda and their cute son Logan. I'm so excited we're with them!!


I got a new calling as a Assistant to the Camp director in the Stake. We've had a lot of meetings, but we're doing our best to make sure girl's camp is the best for these girls and that their experience is the best and most organized as possible. The closer we get to girls camp, the more excited I get. I'll be going there for the entire week of June 22nd, through June 26th. My hubby's going to be spending the night up there in the middle of the week, and I'm excited for him to come up for that.


Mike's had three surgeries since April 28th, and has been on disability since then. 

• April 28th to get the skin graph removed
• April 29th to do the 'flap'. It was a pretty big surgery and we do have pictures, but they might be too graphic to post on here. It might cause a few of you to pass out.
• May 19th for the detaching of the flap. (FREEDOM FOR MIKE'S ARM!)
• and today, June 11th to finish up the surgery

In between surgeries April 28th and May 19th, he was stuck in his hospital room for that entire time. He got up to walk around a few times a day, but really wasn't allowed outside. We would bring him some meals from 'outside' so he wouldn't have to eat the hospital food everyday. He would put on his arm brace for comfortably walking around the hospital. He was finally discharged on May 20th and was able to come home. It was a long time and we had to learn lessons of patience and waiting. 


He was out just in time for my appointment on my birthday on May 24th!! We got to find out the gender of the baby and I'm pregnant with a girl!!!

We've been trying to decide on names for her and I'm pretty sure we've decided on one.
